Is a Zerostat useful to you?

Thanks to my reasonable file methods , my film is rarely dusty, even after decades...but I just found a box of old Kodachrome friends and want to reduce their dust before I duplicate them, rather than using my Nikon v scanner, which is perfect with Ektachrome and other films, but erratic.with Kodachome.

Ordinarily using a Nikon V, I'm amazed by the Bower "high definition digital duplicator II". https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bower-Digi...278992?hash=item52256deb90:g:6cwAAOSwXk1dmTaV

Nikon V ICE would ordinarily be better but when optical duplication is necessary this is a LOT better than bellows arrangements. I've used all sorts of very serious slide duplication and interneg tools but this Bower thing seems much better alternative (except for its inability to crop effectively.

What dust removal tools do you use for 35mm? I don't like polonium brushes because of their short half-life.

How many months for that half-life? Or, how many months until the polonium has to be replaced?

I'm not an expert on that, but I think the polonium brush company suggests only one year. The camel hair brush itself (without polonium) is beautiful, but wildly expensive.
