Carl Zeiss Jena 250mm f 3.5 red T

Hi all

I need some info about thies lens with the No. 3071664 I did not find any information with google. The f stops are from f3.5 to f32 and somewhere on
the barrel is N 88. Thanks for any tips!

Your lens is single coated, made between 1945-1949 in the Zeiss factory in Jena, which was then East Germany. It should be a decent lens with an usable image circle of slighly under 300mm. Obviouly it is a very fast lens.

Yes it is also very heavy and has no shutter!
And I have to get a special big hole on a lensboard a copal 3 hole is to small!
