FS: Pre-war Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta C (6x9 medium format folding camera, model number 530/2). This camera was made c. 1935 or so. It is a work of art, and is in decent condition considering the age. It has been recently CLA'ed so everything works fine. It has virtually no modern niceties, so no double exposure prevention, for example. It does include the somewhat rare 6x4.5 mask. The lens is uncoated (a post-war development), and is a Tessar 10.5cm f4.5. The shutter release on this version is on the shutter itself, rather than on the body, and is actually more ergonomic than a body release. Includes proper leather case as well as a third-party slip-on lens hood. Condition is 8 of 10. This camera produces a very large negative from a very small package (all things considered). Asking $350 + shipping/insurance.

These are amazing cameras, with razor sharp lenses. I have one that I shoot often. Nice that you have the 6x6 mask with it!

A very fine camera, more complete than usual - the OP describes the 645 insert mask as "the somewhat rare 6x4.5 mask" which is rather an understatement - that oft-elusive mask is so rare as to be a collector's item in itself.

If the struts are strong and the rangefinder accurate, this is a truly good bargain for someone who enjoys shooting landscapes without having to lug heavy gear into the wild.

Alas for those of us who live overseas, U$350 in ozzydollas adds a +40% price hit.

That's the exact model that was cloned to become the Moskva-2. I agree, the release on the shutter is much less prone to move the camera than one on the top plate would be (having owned a Moskva-5 for a couple years, and sold it on because I couldn't avoid twisting the camera when I released the shutter). Out of my price range, but someone is going to get a really nice camera here.

In reply to a previous poster: the struts are in good condition and lock positively in the open position, and the rangefinder is accurate.

Wow, great condition, down to the Pernox film label on the inside of the back.

Yep, has the look of a camera that spent sixty or seventy years in the top of a closet, in waxed paper.

Price drop to $299 + shipping/insurance.

Surprised this hasn't sold yet. This is a very nice camera, good performance and also collectable. Price drop to $275+shipping and insurance.

Fine camera in great condition! One of the world's best at the time. Don't come down in price any more. It makes me wish I hadn't found my 6x9 already.
