DESCRIPTION: Zeiss Ikon Contaflex Camera With Pantar 45mm 2.8 Lens & Leather Case.


CONDITION: Camera body is in very nice condition, clear clean lens, viewfinder has some dust specks but doesn't hinder focusing, split image focus works fine, camera cocks and fires, film compartment is clean, meter needle responds to different light conditions. Camera case has some wear, but is functional.


NOTE: This is part of an estate purchase. I have not ran film thru the camera and have only done minimal testing. Selling “as described”. It may or may not need service to be completely functional.

This is more specifically a Contaflex Prima, featuring interchangeable front lens elements -- a 70mm Tele-Pantar and a 30mm (Pantar?) Wide. These also fit the old TOL Contina scale-focus camera, so they are not rare. The lenses, made by Rodenstock, are really good (I have no problems making 11x14 enlargements from the my old negs). And the reflex viewfinder is wonderful-- big bright and easy to focus. I have a nearly complete CP outfit that I really should use more. GLWTS.

P.S.- It should be noted that the Tessar-labeled lenses are for the Contaflex Super, and will NOT work for this camera.

A very decent price for a good camera! If I weren't so heavily invested in a Contaflex Super B system, I would snap it up, but someone wanting to shoot a vintage camera should snap it up!
