I recently picked up a Zeiss ikon cocarette 514/15 at a garage sale. The previous owner had rigged up a spacer so that a 120 spool will fit in the take up side and i am making one for the other spool.

I was wondering what size film this camera originally used?

And has any one have any idea about how much to wind the film between frames, i assume it is 6x9 frame size, but i am probably wrong.

Thanks.

The frame size can be measured with the back open.
It should be somewhere around 56x90mm for 620 size.

If the frame is larger than you would be looking at 116 or 616 size, sorry, I don't know the camera.

ZI cameras indicate their film size and format in the model number; I believe the "/15" suffix means it takes 116 film with 6.5x11 frames. That would also jibe with the need for spacers to get a 120 spool to fit.
