Here is my review of the Zeiss Ikon Baldur camera that was produced between 1934 and 1937 named after the leader of the Hitler youth movement Baldur Von Schirach. They were handed out to the leaders of the youth groups to photograph their activities.
Its a nicely designed compact box camera and it comes in either 6x4.5cm or in this case 6x9cm guise using Zeiss Ikon BII or 120 roll film.

There was seemingly a market for camera models dedicated to youth movements. There was a model for Italy and another for Germany.

Yes, these all have this peer-group related "I want/need this too" attraction.
Also a young owner of a cheap camera also might upgrade later with a "serious" camera from same manufacturer.

Apple and Adobe took that lesson to heart, too. Apple with placing their computers in schools starting with the Apple ][, and Adbobe with "student license" for Photoshop...

I have been wanting a Box Tengor for years, but it's little brother, the Baldur, would be fun to own as well. The Baldur has less features, but it has the same achromatic Frontar lens. A little step up from the cheapest box cameras.

How to pronounce Baldur:

It's similar in german.
