Zeiss has new Makros for Canon in the line-up

I received a note from Zeiss today that they have released the Makro lenses in the Canon EOS mount.

They have the Makro-Planar 50mm F2 ZE $1283 and the Makro-Planar 100mm F2 ZE $1843.

The 50mm should ship next week while the 100mm will ship in January.

I woke up this morning, certain there was nothing in the photo realm that could possibly tempt me.

Yet, I still bleed Zeiss blue from my microscopy days. Well, I know how to patch my jeans !

I'm getting warm for the 50 for the 1v. Where's the fairy dust ?
