There's still some Solaris around, and, heck, Adox might make some 126 next year...or, load your own in an empty Instamatic cartridge; anyway, some decent Zeiss glass for not so much money.
1 - One Contaflex 126 in really nice shape. It has the remnants of a price sticker on the bottom chrome, otherwise all good. I've shot this one quite a bit, and the meter's on target and the shutter just fine. Of the whole lot, this piece is in the best cosmetic and functional condition. A fun, fast shooter. Battery's installed and ready to go.
...comes with...
- 45mm f/2.8 Tessar in good shape. Spots and dots here and there, still performs really well.
- 32mm f/2.8 Distagon in bubble case. In good- shape, as there's a bit of dust and a 1 sq. mm splotch of something (mold, fungus, dried Pepsi...something...) on the rear element. You can see that it was stored for years, as a ring of dust is left up against the rim, front and back...previous seller must have skipped that as they wiped the front with their shirt. But, I used this lens more than the 45, though, and it was fine.
- 135mm f/4 Tele-Tessar. The best glass of the group, if you're counting spots...it's clean and nice, nothing going on to detract from the image quality. Exterior has paint loss where the filters lock in, and the retractile hood takes more effort than it should to pull out...but at least it's sturdy
2 - thrown in for fun is another Contaflex 126 with 45mm/2.8 Tessar...I'm adding it in as freebie as I have not film tested it; or, if I have, it's too far back to recall. So, not knowing what it's capable of, I'll just call it and the lens 'parts' and throw it in the box.
Pricing is difficult...few if any comparisons of actual sales... and buyer has to want to hunt down or roll their own 126. This is not going to win a beauty contest, but it shoots as it should and works fine.
So, let me ask for $285 + shipping, I eat pp fees
Thanks!
