Straight up front with the issue: like many of the ZM's, this one has faulty lubrication in the focusing helicoid. Sometimes a smooth ride for the full turn, most other times the rotation goes randomly between smooth, squeaky, dampened, or fast. As there is no drift and it works just fine for me (travel/family, some landscape), I'm used to it...but it's not how a lens should focus, I know. So, before listing this, I emailed Sherry Krauter to get a quote on a re-lube of the focus mount. Before sending out, I'd like to see if anyone is interested in a reduced-price ZM. Taking off standard amount for it being used, and doubling Sherry's price for a re-lube, I'd like to offer this for $500 shipped in US.

Aperture, blades, glass, contacts are all excellent. A lovely lens...just moving more and more to LF and thinning the M-mount herd. Obviously, there are some who can snap this open and re-grease. So for those folks, or any that don't mind the imperfection, here I hope is a nice buy on a lens more often than not a bit more pricey. Original caps, box, manual.
