My partner and I are heading up to Yukon this summer for about 2 weeks at the end of June and start of July. I wonder if anyone is familiar with the area and has any suggestions. We shoot medium and large format and were thinking about staying in Whitehorse and Dawson City and day tripping around including up to Tombstone.

Though I've never been, from what I've seen and read in books you'll be spoiled for choice.
I'd strongly recommend that (if you haven't done so) you track down a copy of Pierre Bert's "Klondike - The Last Great Gold Rush". It's a long but rivetting read.

Thank you ! For some reason my keyboard has phases when I hit the keys but no characters appear. I failed to pick that up on this occasion. Could be to do with its age - about a third of the keys have their printed letters worn away, so I guess in a roundabout way I'm learning to touch-type!
