But seriously, I'm getting that Fujinon 600 C somehow... Almost had the perfect one but the tax man refused to send the money in time
 
I looked it up. The model D doesn't look quite as big or heavy as I'd imagined, but I should have specified an eye-level finder as well. Have you used one?
 
At first my wife was not even allowing me to enter into the darkroom(bathroom is my current darkroom), which was annoying a bit...but these days the situation is getting better.

- I wish that I can find a decent solution to blind the bathroom window, which I can unblind at the end of print session.
- Peaceful time to print(one or two good prints if not fine).

That should not be too much of a problem. Even complete jerks like me can get a girl in Connecticut.

In the part of CT that I live in, if you don't own an American Express Black Card, you don't exist...

Up north I could get a girl of my dreams but it's so far from my friends and family.

I've had brief amazing times when I did have the girl of my dreams, then she became a nightmare haha, models are crazy...

I understand. Unfortunately I was not born independently wealthy. Instead I am incredibly handsome and quite humble. I am so humble that some of the things I say make me choke and I have to rinse my mouth with mouthwash or hydrogen peroxide.

Apparently I need to move to Connecticut then, around here the problem isn't finding someone it's finding someone who's a decent person. I've met 2 maybe 3 in my life, two of them think I'm too nice (whatever in the hell that means) the third is now married.

To stay on topic I wish that my Hoya R72 filter and my 10 rolls of Ilford SFX 200 that I ordered from B&H would be here today, but unfortunately I have to wait until tomorrow.

I wish my new 8x10 and the 8x10 film holder and the ilford 8x10 Delta and HP5+ would also get here today, but it will be here tomorrow also...

On the Connecticut women topic, do you think any women who need you to have Black Card to be worth anything is NICE?? Lol
 

No certainly not nice at all I'm sure. I was leaning towards what shutterboy said, that even complete jerks like him could find women in Connecticut. Therefore those of us perfect gentlemen should have no trouble either, though I'm sure my logic is flawed as usual.

I had the pleasure of listening to Lois Conner open her exhibition at the Cleveland Museum of Art last March. In talking about her latest 7x17 work in Beijing, she casually mentioned that she had made 800 images over several months. At $9 a sheet I would like to have 800 sheets of Ilford HP5 or Kodak T Max 400 for my 7x17 camera.

I would like to take my camera and gear to China
I would like to be able to hire an assistant to help carry it all.
I would like to have Lois Conner give a several month workshop in China, not just Beijing but all the places she has been in China since she started going there in 1984.

I would like to share this workshop with interesting and kind people from Apug, the LF Forum and my good wife.

Old wishful John Powers, who has been blessed with a wonderful supportive wife who is now taking water color and pastel workshops as she supported me through multiple photography courses.

Dolly has been retired a year now. She has taken three multiple day workshops and five multiple week painting classes in pastel and water color. She meets once or twice a week with other painters who either converge on a local landscape site or go somewhere to paint a still life. She is making up for the lost time while I was retired and taking courses at U Akron.

Hi to you and Hubby. Hope we have a chance to have a dinner together sometime rather than three at a time.

Don't tease me Ralph! I've been lusting after one for some time! (but having just moved across the country and taking a pay cut to do so, I'll have to wait a little longer...)

Get the Mamiya 7 instead, you can always crop later
 
For me it would be an 8x10, either a Wisner or the C-1. Of course, a couple nice lenses, a 210, 300, and ~400mm. Filters to fit the largest lens diameter, with adapters for the others. 8, 12, 15, 25, 47b, 58, 66, 80 series and 81 series.

Also a 4x5 enlarger and lens. Another Mamiya RB-67, with a 135 lens. A Canon 7 with the 50/1:0.95 and 85 f/1.8.

A good Hasselblad digital and lenses to complement my digital gear.

Ultimately, though, I'm satisfied with what I have. As I get better and have more resources, getting an 8x10 would be my first choice.
 
- Whole plate camera - Chamonix makes them, plus some HP5 film in 6.5x8.5
- LF enlarger by Kienzle
- Leica R 6.2 + Summilux 50mm E60
- Leica 0 serie, plus some APX 25

one can but dream...
