My gear related wish list:

1) somebody to take all my orphaned 35mm gear
2) a darkroom that I don't have to disassemble and hide throughout the house when not in use.
3) time
4) just one good color lab with reasonable prices....preferably, local ( I really wish E&J were still around!)

My wish is that every body that contacts me about gear I have for sale would follow through. I don't mean buy it, although that would be swell, but in communication. I recently was contacted about a camera for sale, then was informed a money order was on the way, then nothing. The fellow won't reply to PMs and the MO never showed. Another person asks for more pix and better description of a camera, then drops off the face of the planet. I suppose my wish is actually about better manners. As for my gear, I have everything camera wise that I will use, and am selling off what I don't need. I could use Pt/Pd supplies, the budget is tight right now and will be until sales of gear come through.

I know the majority here are men, so maybe we don't have a sample size than can answer this, but do husbands ever complain about their wives' camera gear acquisition?

Lady, we are talking of *killing*. Complaining is a walk in the park. :whistling:

For what it's worth, I would never be that kind of wife, nor would I want to be married to that kind of husband.

I always had a thing for "winger". Now I can add you to the list.

I already have MX and Hasselblad. I want the M3 with Summarit 50/1.5 lens, a rolleiflex 2.8, Norita 66 with 80/2 lens, pentax 67 + 105/2.4 and... the list goes on. I'm more after the lenses than cameras perse. My guess is that I will get the M3 in 6-7 months.

No 35mm cameras for me. My wish list . . . I would like to have one of the cameras Nadar used during his aerial photography (ballooning) experiments. To have plate cameras from his studio would also be nice.

Okay . . . I'm probably wishing for too much there. How about a 20x24 plate camera with a normal lens, 3 plate holders, and tripod? :D

I don't have a wish list, I just enjoy using what I already have, Iv'e rationalised and sold all my superfluous equipment recently, and don't want any more.

What do I wish for?

World peace… but that's only because I don't feel I can win based on looks and talent alone.

I have everything I need. But on the wish list:

Mamiya 7 and 3 lenses
Noblex Pro 6

Both are very expensive (relative). The Noblex might not get enough use to justify it's cost; and I am not a fan of rangefinders, but the size and optics of the Mamiya 7 sure are enticing.

Since we're dealing in the realm of fantasy here, I want a large format SLR than I can handhold. But I'd settle for one of the medium format versions that actually exist.

At the moment, a Ricoh AF-5 would be at the top of my list, followed closely by a Nikon L35AF and a Minolta Hi-Matic AF2. I'm in an 80s-point-and-shoot kind of mood.

Look at the 4"x5" Graflex Model D.

A clean user Contax II in slightly broken (and therefore cheap) condition. That's all. I don't even need a lens since I caught the Soviet GAS disease. The Contax will make a nice backup for my Kiev.
Of course, there are others if they come along at the right time at the right price but the Contax is the one I'm actively looking for.

Well I've already got my RB67, about 200 rolls of B&W 120, a ton of Rodinal, an excellant light meter, and a great tripod. I guess now all I need is to win the lottery so I can quit my job and have more time to photograph.

1) FM2n with serial in the 7465xxx range. Ideally, I'd love to have #7465126, but I think that one probably has died by now. Been about 121 months since the last time I had that thing in my bag. Traded it, a black FM, a MD-11, and a beat to heck 55/2.8 Micro-Nikkor for my first F3P. If I'd been smart, I would've just paid the $80 and kept the FM2n.

That's really the only thing I'd like to have, body-wise. Lens-wise, would like to get another 20/3.5 UD and replace the 180/2.8 I had to sell off recently, maybe add another 300 as well.
