Well I went to an estate sale where my doppelganger had just died and I got a Visoflex III with 65 3.5 elmar for $150 and a c-Simlar 5cm f3.5 for $20 and other nonRF stuff.

Finally got the Nikon S2 with a 5cm 1.4 and a 10.5cm 2.5 with the hood. I've run two rolls through it and that 5cm 1.4 sure takes a purty picture. Haven't used the 10.5 yet but I have a fresh roll of 400TX in it.

Voigtlander Vitessa L filters!

Three filters for my Voigtlander Vitessa L. I now have a green, medium yellow, and a skylight. Those who also own these delightful cameras know that the filters use "bayonet" filters which screw into interrupted threads in the lens mount; this example of German engineering at its untrammeled best makes the filters hard to find. Ah, well.

Am I at risk in becoming a "collector"?:confused:

My Next RF purchase...

My last purchase was an Olympus XA w an A16 Flash,
which replaces a Yashica T-4, which despite the
superior Zeiss lens, I could not produce the quality
of the results I wanted, because of the limitation of
the film DX Coding, without a Manual Overide.

My next RF purchase will be a Titanium Contax G-2
with a 35 - 70 mm zoom lens.

I do have to say that despite the opinion of
Roger W. Hicks, the Contax G-2 is considered a
Rangefinder camera, for the purposes of this forum.

Finally I'm looking to upgrade ALL of my filters to
B+W MRC F-Pro filters.

I got my second rangefinder about a month ago in the form of a Bessa R3A. Got a Nokton 40 for it too, but now I really want some 24/28mm love.

I just bought off eBay an Argus C4 (or, as it says on the lens, an "argus c-four") in pretty good physical shape but working perfectly. I love, love, LOVE Argus cameras.
So far I have two regular C3s, a C-3 Matchmatic, this C4, and an Argoflex Seventy-Five pseudo-TLR, along with the now-useless little 110 Carefree 2 pocket camera that was the first camera I ever had as a child.

'57 Kiev 2a just arrived today, kind of amazing the difference between this and my '61 4a.

Just snagged a fairly clean Minolta Al. It's a pretty classy looking camera but I'm not sure if the selenium meter is working. Thankfully everything else appears to be

Good morning;

From another APUG member, an FSU Rangefinder camera, the FED-2. This one came with two lenses; the Industar-22 3.5/50mm collapsible lens, and the Industar-26m 2.8/5cm lens. It has joined the Zorki-4 and the Zorki-4K already here. The FSU cameras are growing in number slowly.

I could not stand bad precision of 50mm frame lines on M6, M3 is better choice form my 50mm summicron. On M6 now sits color skopar 35mm / 2.5.
