Now that is a good find. I just hope you had a camera to go with it though!

I get the sense that film cameras are now on their second trip around at flea markets and boot sales. The first few years of the digital revolution people still using film snapped up the good stuff, but now they have in turn given in to digital. So you may need gloves to handle those mouldy bags but the contents can be surprising, and cheap.

Steve, I've got a Canon VT, and the Elmar is a nice travel option compared to the 50mm f/1.2 that came with the VT!

Surprisingly, I've since found a slip-on UV filter for the Elmar and a SOOMP hood for Summar in the set as well. Deal just keeps getting better and better.

I've lately been upgrading my rangefinders with some filters, hoods, and straps. The improvements should aid my efforts . .. ... hopefully.

Bronica RF645 65mm lens..

Congratulations!
I have a RF645 myself for several years now and it's a very nice camera with beautiful lenses.
If you like wide angle, there is also a nice 45 mm f/4 lens for this camera.

I just joined the world of 35mm photography (I have been shooting DSLR for 2 years and will continue for some projects). 35mm is going to be for personal projects.

I just picked up a Yashica Electro 35 GSN and a very clean Minolta Hi-Matic 7s (with a flash) from antique stores in my area, and I have a Canonet QL17 GIII on the way via eBay. Once I get batteries, film, and light seal kits in, I will be starting to shoot!

Yesterday I picked up a rather hard to find Canon 7Sz. While congratulating myself on my luck, I saw an interesting lens on a shop shelf, it turned out to be a Nikkor O 2.1cm f/4 lens for the Nikon rangefinder cameras. It had the original finder and case, but was missing the rear cap. I parted with the rest of the cash I was carrying in my wallet, and walked out with the lens. I am now shooting with it on my SP,

Got the 28/45/90 trio. This is my exit strategy from digital, so I'll be using it for client work as well as personal projects.

I found me an Agfa Super Silette with an Agfa Apotoar 1:35/45 mm lens in Protnto-SVS shutter (1955-1959).

I don't know anything about this camera, any tips?

I loaded a film and will see how good/bad it is ...

I bought a Canon VT de luxe with the Canon 50mm f/1.2 for $15. The lens is in for repair because the shutter blades are oily. This is my first removable lens rangefinder... I'm excited to play around with it once the lens is back.

That's an insane deal. I thought my VT with 50/1.2 was a good deal at 200 (with an IVSB, FD 50/1.4 chrome nose, lens converter B all thrown in).

Double-checking that the rangefinder is accurately focusing compared to the lens is a very good thing. My copy of the 50/1.2 is quite sharp even wide open but it's very easy to make OOF/soft images. Also, the original hood is huge and not very nice in use, but looks cool.

I thought so... definitely enough of a deal to warrant taking the lens in for servicing. And I misspoke, I also own a Contax G1.

Lumiere w/Fidor lens.

This is a French made medium format 6X9 folder with 6.3 lens. Circa 1937. I'll be in France in August and will try to capture some ikonic French landmarks. I'll also be using my Argus C3 ala Tony Vaccaro, especially while visiting the Normandy invasion sites.

Plaubel Makina II modified new to me, waiting on delivery of a back to put it to use (it arrived with only a single cut-film holder, and without a darkroom it's a little alkward to cut film to size. . .)
