Some goodies arrived in the mail this week; a nice Canon P, a Nikon S3, and a black Olympus SP. I have been looking at a black-paint M2 at one of the local camera shops. The angel side says "no, you already have a black M3 and a black M4", but the devil side says "you know, if you have a black M2, you will have a complete set of early black-paint M cameras!" Hmm, perhaps I can sell the S3 and SP for enough to get the M2...

Waiting to get a Bolsey model B2 in the mail any day by now. Had a strong desire to get one after holding a similar model owned by another analog shooter met on a plane show last fall.

Does a gift of five rolls of 136-36 Kodak Portra 400 count?

Leica M6-TTL in "like new" condition, with a pleasant Summicron-M 50mm/2 to boot!

I'm happy as a school boy! (and just as broke, mind you...)

A black Leica M6 (non ttl) + Voigtlander Nokton Classic 35mm f/1.4, both in close to perfect condition. The seller actually pointed me into the direction of this site as well.

Just received a Ricoh FF-3AF in the mail yesterday, waiting on a nice Argus C-3 and a Yashica MG-1.

I couldn't help it -- after years of reading about the Mamiya 6 I had to try one. It felt a bit insane but the 50mm on this thing is so amazing, it's hard to regret the purchase.

I bought a Voigtlander r3a with the Voigtlander 40/1.4 lens.

Been using old Yashica rangefinders and really liked the handling, but wanted the ability to do manual exposure or at least easily accessible exposure compensation and the flexibility of interchangeable lenses. Can't wait to go out shooting with it.

I just bought a FED-2b (type 2), with two lenses (Industar 63M, Jupiter-8), from a seller here. I put a test roll though it yesterday and am loving it. When I got it in the mail, I thought the viewfinder window was horrendously blurry and tried to clean it, only to be disappointed. THEN I realized I hadn't adjusted the diopter. Wow! I can see!

Terry, how did you adjust the diopter? I have the same camera (i believe - it's a Fed 2 but not sure if it's 2b, c, d, etc.) ... but my impression of the viewfinder is the same as your initial impression.

I kept moving the dioptre adjustment of a Zorki without realising it, although I did wonder what that lever was. I thought there was something wrong with it (or my eyes) until I worked it out.
