I prefer Diafine as it lasts quite awhile and develops to a certain contrast level and Tri-X, the only film I do in Diafine, doesn't look pushed. I've done some pushing of TX up to 3200, in Acufine, but contrast was too high. IMO, Acufine is much better at EI 800-1600. I've got some times around somewhere. I'll see if I can look them up.
TX EI 1000, Acufine 1+1, 10 min., 21C, 3 inversions/min. This was the best, IMO.
TX EI 1600 Acufine 1+1, 14 min. 21C, 3 inversions/min., Haven't tried this, read about it on this forum.
TX EI 3200 Acufine 1+1, 21 min., 21C, 3 inversions/min., This is where contrast was too high.
I also have in my notes: TMZ, EI 3200, Acufine 1+1, 7.5 min., 21C. I circled it in my notes, so it must have been pretty good.
TMZ EI 6400, Acufine. 1+0, 7.5 min., 21C. I don't think zi tried this one.
Experiment, see which one may work for you.
