The last Mercury retrograde of 2020 occurs from Tuesday, October 13, to Tuesday, November 3, in the sign of Scorpio.

So guys, what does it do to you?

Sharper eye?
Domination of the photo world?
Buy more gear?
Makes you closer to Ansel Adams? Cartier-Bresson?

That and $50US will get you a cup of coffeen in $tarbucks.

I'm undecided...whether to rearrange my sock drawer or point the telescope at mars....that is the question.

Celestial mechanic needed: Will not pay for time or distance, straight salary only.

I'm thinking more about the Martian opposition today. I need to get my telescope out soon.

I've seen no correlation between Mercury and my level of creativity. (Notwithstanding mercury poisoning, anyway.)

Because Mercury rules communication, I curse more when it's retrograde and I've made some photography related mistake.
Missed focus. Put the wrong chemical in the tank, etc., etc.

I dragged spouse off the sewing room to comment on the OP. The avid astrologer in her says miscommunication and also delays, agreeing with above.

So you are watching this and could detect it if not pointed out to you?

I'm more affected the relative forward motion of buildings as I watch telephone poles from the train...

hi NB23
I am a little freaked out to be honest !
a year ago when merc went retrograde my car's timing chain snapped and destroyed the engine ( yea I know the chain's aren't supposed to break )
then in December when I was supposed to print a whole bunch of things out for a class the computers and printers all died on me .. or refused to print
and then my computer at home completely died. ...
yesterday my new computer had problems ( I think mars was involved too )
granted technical difficulties for mechanical stuff can be attributed to other things. ... but I don't' think so
photographically speaking.
its making me closer to my process... im listening and things are communicating...

I used to do that a lot. Blink an eye, and then the other, in sequence. Made the poles move faster. Also, the blinking makes them move left or right, and I had this game in my mind where the poles couldn’t touch certsin objects.

Just the other day both our household cars broke down. Then got a flurry of tickets. I seem to get those tickets in series. None for a while and then a bunch.
Broke a camera in the mean time...

Sounds like a list of bad happenings that only the more honest of election teams will tell you about if you vote carelessly:D

thankfully I put our mail in ballots where they belonged, before merc went buzzerc ...
I'm still waiting for what's in store for us now.. the minister if disinformation has been at it
well b4 merc was involved ... and professor griff was not involved...

Oh!! No!! I take back my rude remarks earlier. My Rolleiflex 6008 died a few days ago.

I'm embarrassed to say I have overlooked the importance of the "Retrograde" in my life and vow to never cast doubt upon the cosmic powers again!

In fact today I broke a fingernail, and the battery in my flashlight was found dead. :surprised:

I suffered a fractured eyelash!

Finally I can stop holding my breathe!

Mercury has been banned in the EU, thus that all no longer applies on us over here.

I thought this thread concerned the lack of batteries for old cameras. What I most miss is the lovely cadmium in my favourite Agfa papers.
