I've been into photography since high school. Mostly 35mm rangerfinders like Yashica Lynx back then, but had some chance to use a 4x5 graflex for yearbook/student newspaper work. Then gradually moved into Nikon SLR for film, then jumped into digital...but the Digital SLRs are getting so heavy(or perhaps my age as a pack mule is starting to show), so last year I started using a Leica Digilux 2 for travel/fun/street use as its so light and quiet. My young adult
kids' questions about film have gotten me back into the analog world where I've been playing with a Ricoh Diacord G and an Agfa Isolette III.

I'm remembering all that time spent planning and composing the shot, and of course one has to appreciate the advances made with MF rangefinders like the Bronica RF645, or Mamiya 6/7, or even some of the fujis. After all one has to lust for something next.

I've been enjoying this site, although I have to say its a little intimidating when I look at the work and insight posted here.

Welcome! Any camera can get heavy with the right toys attached to it

My AE-1P is nice light and nimble with a 50mm on it. Put on a 28-80mm zoom and it's heavy. Put on the Power Winder A and it's much heavier. Put on the zoom, the winder, the flash and it weighs a ton!

Glad you moved back to the film side of things, though.
