Hello,
I've made a foolish blunder by stripping the front leatherette from my Yashica-Mat, removing the screws and attempting to "restore" the shutter. Shortly after I got into it, I remembered that I have no idea how to restore a camera and closed it up neat and tidy. Dodged a bullet, I'm sure. I haven't broken anything and I managed to reassemble it, but the wear that I put on those soft brass screws was too much and now I'm in need of new ones. I measured the needed screws with my calipers:

4mm (head diameter) x 3.5mm (length) x 2mm (screw diameter)

3mm (head diameter) x 2.5mm (length) x 1.5mm (screw diameter)

I'm fairly certain that a standard optician's screw kit will be too big, and after sifting through eBay and Amazon, I can't seem to find any kits that are more specific than "great for little jobs!" (Most don't list sizes that even come close) and I don't want to buy several big kits just for a few screws. I've already contacted micromark, micro-tools, and a couple of others. Does anyone have a pile of screws that they could sell me or a kit with these sizes? Or a firm resource for them? I need about 5 of each. Any help appreciated.

Thank you for your help!

When I needed tiny screws for cameras, I've had good luck at hobby stores that sell remote control cars and planes.

I've only had sporadic success getting hardware at hobby shops. Best source for me has bee microfasteners.com

That is excellent advice, I was able to find a hobby shop that sells pieces for replica engines that has close enough sizes to my screw holes. I'll head over there today and with any luck, reassemble the Yashica today.
