Yashica Lynx rangefinder problem

Yashica Lynx 1000, the apparatus for viewing the rangefinder info and the frame boundaries seems to move about. I've attached a photo to demonstrate. The rangefinder itself, when I am able to view it, seems accurate. Is this something one can fix? I am reluctant to take the top off unless it's feasible.

It is fixable. I had such a problem with a Lynx 1000 and it was repaired by Mr. Mark Hama, not me.

The top is quite easy to remove, and you should be able to fix by yourself. There are Yashicaguy written guides as well as YouTube videos.
