Yashica FX3 Super 2000 with a loose film advance lever.

I can't figure out how to remove the plastic cover to get to the screw/nut to tighten it.

Any advice?

If you half turn the lever you can see on the under side a little screw. Loose it and the plastic cover come away and you can tight the screw to fix the lever. Hi.
