Yashica A Early Model

I picked up an earlier model Yashica A TLR 6x6 camera. It comes with the Yashimar lenses. On both lenses I see separate serial numbers, but no where on the camera do I see a serial number for the camera itself. Where do I locate that? Or do they even come with serial numbers? I picked this up for a cheap 6x6 camera, though I already have a Holga in the same format. I have better 120 cameras, so this one is just for fun. Is the lens coated with decent coatings on these? Or am I asking too much for the mid 50s?

I have a Yashica A with the Yashimar lenses. The serial number for the body is on the top of the camera - look along the front edge of the camera, just above the nameplate.

The main thing about the Yashimar is that it's a pretty basic triplet, so don't expect great bench-test performance, especially at the wider apertures. But you might like its character anyway. You can read more here:

The Yashimar is "ok", but the later Yashikor is sharper. My grandfather had a black Yashica A with Yashimar as the family camera back then, and it took much superiour photos compared to the Instamatic they bought later.

I gave a later Yashica A with Yashikor as a birthday present to my father, and the Yashikor is so good stopped down that you can sneak in photos taken with it among photos taken with Rolleis or Hasselblads and no one could tell the difference.
