Because of vision problems, I am offering my Yashica 44 LM for sale. It is a super clean little tlr for 127. Cosmetics are excellent, lenses are clean and clear. All shutter speeds sound correct, even the slow speeds. Controls are smooth and positive. Aperture blades are clean. The light meter responds quickly to light changes and appears to be accurate. Comes with original lens cap and very nice leather ERC. I will also include two rolls of 127 efke R100 b&w film. This little gem is ready to shoot. Priced to sell at $85 plus shipping. I will cover Paypal fees. Prefer sale to US/CA. ##SOLD##

A pity that 127 film is so limited in speed, type, and is SO EXPENSIVE! I have a Komaflex S, a 127 leaf shutter single lens reflex, auto film stop, good 4 element f2.8 Prominar lens, in nice cosmetic condition, but in need of a CLA. I'd spring for the CLA but for the cost of the film. Arrrrgh!!

Yes. I wish some film manufacturer would/could stock several varieties of 127 at a price equal to 120. We can dream, can't we?

Easy enough to make 127 from 120 if you have a few spools. Bonus: you get a 16 mm strip that will reload a Minolta 16 cassette twice! There are pre-built cutters on eBay now, or 3D printer files if you have such a device.

If you can get it in 120, you can shoot it in your Komaflex. Or Yashica 44. Or baby Ikonta.

Or Foth Derby, Nagel Vollenda, Starmite, Annie 44... The list is endless. For 4x4 red window cameras, 127 can use the 120 backing and get 16 images; for 4x6, you can use the 6x6 track and get 12 with a couple millimeters overlap. Half frame also overlaps a bit if you don't mask the frame, but gives 24. You may have to spool backward for the 4x6 and 4x3, as I recall...
