A VERY good friend of mine sent me her Yashica. The lens confuses me, though. There are two rings at the front of the lens with an f-stop and then behind that is a dial with the feet/meters and behind THAT is another dial with the f-stop.

There's no light meter...but I have a Weston Master II that I can use. It's still accurate, at least it matches what the internal light meter of my Pentax.

The lens is a Super Lentar, wide angle, 1:2.8, f=35mm.

Any explanation, help is appreciated.

Thanks!

One ring is to preset the aperture, the other ring to quickly open and shut the aperture to the preset opening.
