Have I killed my Replenished Xtol?
From my 1000ml working replenished Xtol, I used 600ml to process 1 roll of film.
After the development, I must have had a mental block and rather than pour the developer back into the working solution bottle, I poured it down the sink.
Now my working solution is 600ml short. Can I simply replenish with a further 600ml and carry on or do I need to start all over again?
Xtol Development Times
My main film is Fomapan which according to the Big Dev Chart requires a development time for (stock) @ 20 degrees to be around 6 minutes.
Due to the reciprocity of this type of film and the fact that it builds up contrast quickly, I wanted to try and reduce the high values by reducing development time but at the suggested 6 minutes, I don't have much time to play with before I go under the 5 minute marker.
Any advice welcome.
