I personally also like to be able to open pictures in separate window or tab, because then the picture can load in the background while I read or watch something else, but this is just my personal taste.

I agree, I do that too.
I just have right click disabled to slow down photo stealing.
I'll see what my options are while building the new website.

Good questions.
I am not clear with it myself.
I am still trying to figure out my market, whether its selling prints, portrait sessions, photojournalism or all the above. Unfortunately none of these services are marketable here in Greece, thus I've left it vague at the moment as I try to clear things out.
