I ordered the wrong WLF off *bay. I have a very clean and very nice WLF with fixed focusing screen for Exakta Varex. It has a prong that pokes down into the camera, and so I can't mount it on the later Exakta and Exa that I have, as the absence of a hole for that prong appears to be the main difference in viewfinder mount.
It comes in a pristine, supple leather case that appears to be original.
I would accept any WLF (not chimney, as I have one) that can mount in VX1000 (Same as Exa 1A)

I think you can remove the prong and it will work fine. I think that is what I did.
My first thought as well... but without damaging the parts in case I wanted to reassemble it? I don't see how that pin unscrews or come out.

I also like the interchangeable focus screens that the later finders have, so I think on the whole I'll keep it intact and try to trade it. Thanks for the idea, though!
