I've been informed that other similar era Olympus rangefinders (aside from the RC, as it's a different type of lever, of course) may work.

Anyone have a broken Oly sitting around?

I don't but I'm looking for an Oly Trip hotshoe which I'm sure is the same as the RC.
There are a couple of RC's on ebay right now at less than $15.00 and if you snag one, I'll buy the hotshoe off of you for 10.00 shipped to WV
that might lessen the sting.

Thanks but the RC is of no use to me, it has the lever inside the body vs on top of the top plate. If you know of any others that would interchange that might work.
