Good thing Luis-F-S has a densitometer for sale. I don’t really want to sell this Marshall Studios densitometer. I’m in the midst of refurbishing it, even though it’s an “extra” for me. The “field mirror” is in “fair” condition and there is not much that can be done for that. Internally a mirror could still use replacement. I’ll probably do that. The scale is cruddy looking. I’m considering drawing a new one.

Actually have 4 working transmission densitometers don’t. Need them all

Actually found a way to replace the field mirror. It involved carefully scratching a circular opening on the silver side of a mirror under a microscope. At first I thought the hole would be too sloppy and big, then I realized with a little patience I could get it to look round.

Bill, in my amateur astronomy days, I silvered a mirror once or twice. If I recall it wasn't too tough to do.
