Just as the title says. I can pay cash or can trade Adaptall mounts in Minolta or Pentax Screwmount.

If a cash deal, let me know price including shipping to 56468. It should be light enough to ship first class. Thanks.

That one from Fotodiox is no Adaptall-2 adapter.

They claim it wrongly. So much about claims...

Tamron made different Adaptall lenses and mounts. The Adaptall-2 mounts are of the latest generation and offerred BOTH, automatic-diaphragm and aperture-simulator and even more actuators where necessary (e.g. FD).

Only in few cases Tamrom listed under their Adaptall-2 adapters that offerred less, as their M42 adapter, which only offered automatic-diaphragm, as the respective bodies dit not offer more either. But already their Pentacon (M42) Electric adapter offered both.

The Tamron Adaptall-2 Pentax K adapter thus had 2 actuators.
At the Fododiox adapter there is not even one!
It thus only mounts the lens without any actuating.

First, I wasn't aware of this until Auer pointed it out.

But if you look closely at the photos, the Fotodiox version is lacking the linkage to the lens aperture setting and stop-down. So it would only operate in stop down mode. If so, this should be clearly disclosed and it is not.

My guess is that this is intended to mount Tamron lenses on Pentax dslrs where the body does not have any physical linkage to the lens aperture.

Well they do state:
"Set your exposure manually or meter using your camera's Aperture Priority (stop-down) mode."
Yeah it's vague and all the way down on the page.

Sorry man, I thought this might have worked for you.

As mgb74 hinted at, for nearly all of their customers that description is head on and likely for the Fotodiox people themselves too.

We guys with our obsolete cameras thus have to be alert. This applies for all adapters offered. At least Fotodiox offer photos of both sides so anybody really knowing what he is looking for should realize in advance what he would get.

I was able to make a trade with a member. So, while I wouldn't turn down a really good deal for an extra, I'm probably set for now.
