i don't have a 383, but I have two sunpak 433D strobes sitting here doing nothing. Want one? paypal me $10 to cover postage and it is thine ...

Thank you both. I actually just bought one elsewhere last night and was coming here to update. With the 433D, I read that it didn't take a sync cord (?), so I wasn't sure. I plan to use it with my Yashica Mat 124G. I do appreciate that kind offer though.
