Thank you for looking. I purchased a lens that has pretty nice glass, but the shutter is completely shot and has no scales. This is the Gundlach-Manhatten Optical convertible Rapid Rectilinear 8x10, serial #77446. Front glass is 28in, rear is 20 1/2 or 1/4, the last stamped number is hard to tell. The busted shutter is Wollensak w/ the Gundlach top dial. I'm not sure how to tell exactly the number/type shutter it is. Like my other 8x10 Gundlach lens, the cells screw into spacer inserts that then screw into the shutter. The cells themselves are right around 51mm opening, I can not get the front insert out at the moment ( I know I will need too, but waiting until that need) but the rear insert came out and the rear shutter opening is 59mm. I was hoping when I bought it that the cells would switch out with my other Gundlach lens. It didn't, it's in a Betax no4.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I am willing to "hat trick" the lens, but I need something it fits in with a working aperture.

Thank you,
Jody

I did a little clean up on the shutter in an attempt to free up the front spacer from the shutter body. It reveled "PAT Feb 6 1900" on top rt above lever and "PAT July 23 1901" on top of Lt lever.

I am hoping this was kind of a common shutter for the time and that someone has one they don't need. Shutter does NOT need to work for firing proposes, I just need working aperture blades. I have a lens board with a packard shutter on it that I can mount to.

Thanks
