I have a mint non folding shen hao 617..... just not using it much. I will be listing it at $1600US including shipping/insurance. I am in Canada and have bought and sold here and on large format photography.
The non-folding is a heap easier to set up and put away. Why the fixation on the folding one?
I've taken my non-folding on many of flights, both domestic and international. I use between 72mm and 305mm on mine. A typical carry-on travel kit is the camera/roll film back, dark cloth, filters, meter and 72/120/210/305mm kit. Easy.
It would be the same with the folding as well, so my suggestion would be to buy the cheapest that you can get and get good glass!
I'm off to Bali soon with 72/120/240mm kit.
