I really have my heart set on the folding model. But I will give your offer some serious thought and PM you if I should change my mind. Either way, I do appreciate the offer.
I'm strictly thinking travel. I'm only going off the manufacturer's published measurements of both models, so I could be wrong, but it seems to me like they could mean the difference between bringing one on-board a plane with me as a carry-on, or paying an extra $50+ and letting the baggage handlers do God knows what to it.
I've been made aware of some pros the TFC has though, and might end up going that route when it's all said and done. If you have either you want to part with let me know.
I've taken my non-folding on many of flights, both domestic and international. I use between 72mm and 305mm on mine. A typical carry-on travel kit is the camera/roll film back, dark cloth, filters, meter and 72/120/210/305mm kit. Easy.
It would be the same with the folding as well, so my suggestion would be to buy the cheapest that you can get and get good glass!

Nice kit.... I may regret selling mine... and love using the 120 nikkor lens as i have so much movement available. I have the 75 Nikkor but always admired the 72xl from afar.
