the recomar is a plate camera right? It would help if you posted the format, size, and thickness of what you need.

I appreciate your help!

The vagueness of the ad was intended. I posted it this way as to avoid any confusion. My understanding is that not all roll film backs made for plate cameras 6.5x9 in this case may fit the Recomar 18, but might appear as though it would. There were a few different mounts. So, if someone had one that they knew would fit the Recomar 18, I would avoid buying one that doesn’t fit.

I have a Recomar 18 and can confirm that the holders/backs are cross-compatible with the fairly common Voigtländer spec. No rollfilm back of this type is really common, but if someone has one that fits a 6.5x9 Bergheil or Avus, it’ll fit the Recomar 18.

Thank you for that bit of info! That will be very helpful in my search if I don’t buy one from a member here.

OK, your best bet is a Rada for 6.5x9 cameras. There is also rada which was made for the plaubel makina, it may be labeled plaubel.
There are also Rollex (not linhof) and Suydam. But I prefer the Rada.

I dont have an extra of this size. It may take some time but I am sure you can find one.
Hopefully someone here will have one.

On ebay:
here is a Rada marked incorrectly for 9x12 , it should fit your camera:

here is a plaubel, but I dont think it will fit your camera based on the shoulder of the rail:

Here is a rollex

I have Rada backs for sale. These fit Plaubel Makinas. I recently sold one to a member here looking for a fit on a Recomar. It didn't work - the rails were a bit too thick. YMMV but just so you know.

@Jessxi If you want to try one DM me and I'll send it to you. If it somehow fits great, otherwise you can return it. I also have 6.5 x 9 Rolex and Rolex knock off backs. Maybe one of those will work...

Thank you very much, I appreciate your help and your time! I will give these a look.
