Found WTB: Red 24mm Filter or Step-up Ring 24-30.5mm

So I'm still on the hunt for a red 24mm filter for my Rollei 35 LED or a 24-30.5mm Step-up ring (just been gifted a set of 30.5mm filters).

I purchased a Hoya 24mm a while back, but the thread is not quite long enough to screw in perfectly; screws in but not far enough to lock into place - so falls out.

Hoping someone here may have a spare they're willing to part with or have seen one on other websites. I know that B&H have step-up rings, but the cost to post is 3x the cost of the actual item - I'm not quite that desperate yet.

Tim at Filterfind is THE MAN! For example, I have a lovely Zeiss Ikon Contessa 35, the jewel-like folder. Its lens is threaded, but on the OUTSIDE. Time turned up an Endalite series 5 holder which threads on, and also a nice filter case.

Helionpan is still doing filters in 24mm - fotoimpex has them (some in stock, others as special order item). I'm not sure they will ship to Down Under ...

I did see this earlier, but $AUD160 for a filter is a little too steep for the wallet - I'm not quite *that* desperate.

I'll have to keep checking back - no red 24mm at present on his Item list, but I've bookmarked for later.

Found one via eBay - ask nicely and sometime's it all pays off!!
