I'm looking to buy a cord so that I can hand hold a flash, as stated in the title.

Initially I was thinking about about a male hot shoe to female hot shoe, but I'd also be interested in a male PC to female hotshoe for use on my Pentax Spotmatic/Nikkormat, a.k.a. cameras that don't have a hot shoe.

And the option to pick up both would be schweeeeet.

Let me know what you have!

P.S. I have a Omega DII lamp housing (two actually) that I'd be glad to trade.

Consider looking into garden variety hot shoe slave.

Frequently they can be found with a female PC socket parallel to the hot shoe contacts. Ususally this allows the slave to trigger a hot shoe flash, or a flash that needs a PC trigger.

You could use it to trigger the hot shoe strobe by a PC male to male cord.
