Hello,

I’m looking for a 6x6 negative carrier for my omega b600 enlarger. Omega part numbers 423-120 or 423-129. Not seeing any on eBay so figured I’d ask here in the meantime.

Thanks!

I just bought this one a couple days ago and got in the mail today (sorry): https://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-2-1-...-120-for-B-22-B-66-C700-Enlarger/254429496958

It's catalog number 423-120.

You may want to contact the seller and see if they have any more.

Alternatively, I have another one that the was opened up to ~6x7 by the person who owned it before me that I'm replacing with this one because the enlarger I use it with isn't 6x7. I'd be fine with selling it to you, if you want it.

Thanks! Another member pointed out a mislabeled negative carrier on ebay, but I think I'm going to take a wack at 3D printing a negative carrier first since the negative carrier on ebay costs almost as much as what I paid for the entire enlarger...who new? Depending on how the DIY version works, I might take you up on the 6x7 though!

Negative carriers and the various other little bits and pieces you need to make it work tend to be relatively difficult to find and not that cheap because they’re relatively difficult to find.

Have you tried just making one out of (folded in my case) card?

I have an Omega 6 x 6 enlarger and have not long made a neg carrier for my new Horizon panoramic camera, which has long negs on 35mm film. I just place this neg holder between the 6 x 6 metal neg holder from the enlarger and it works fine!

My card is thin, as it goes between an original holder, but using two bits of thicker 'mounting board' should work well and should enable you to make a 6 x 6 neg carrier, just fine.
