I'm looking for a decent and very good functioning Nikon F with view finder and lens from (around) February 1967, which is when I was born. I have several Nikon cameras (like EL2, F, F2S, F3, F4s and F5), so I don't really need another Nikon F, but I think it will be fun to photograph the places where I grew up with a camera (and lens) that is as old as I am.
If I'm correct, for this time frame the serial numbers of the Nikon F should start with #6799xxx or #6800xxx.

I would prefer a Photomic Tn finder (not FTN model) as well.

I'm not in a hurry to get one, but I thought I might just ask around. you'll never know.
So if you have such a camera, view finder or lens from about February 1967 laying around, please send me a PM.

I have some other cameras for trade if needed - even a good working older Nikon F body.

I've had that thought as well, but decided I didn't really need it. My F would be three years older than yours as well. Anyway I've got plenty of cameras that are much older than I, and I've just got plenty of cameras, period. Including an F, but not one as old as either of us. Good luck, I'm sure the right one will come along.
