Want to Buy WTB- Nikon Coolpix 990 digital (gasp!) camera

OK, I hope I don't break any rules asking for a digital camera....it's not like most of us don't own digital cameras in addition to our analog cameras. Just thought I'd put this out there.

I'm looking to replace my old Nikon Coolpix 990 camera which is pretty unusable due to the battery compartment door breaking and the control switch being flakey. I has spent over $150 for a LifePixel infrared filter and installed it, then the camera died (unrelated to the LifePixel filter install)... I tried selling the LifePixel filter but no takers. So I figure to just replace the camera (cheap) so at least I (or someone else) can shoot infrared again.

I think my dad has a 995 I gave him years ago. Will that work? I'll have to verify which it is and if he still has it and if he wants to sell it.

Hi Rich- not sure, but probably. Don't go through any trouble- it shouldn't be too difficult to find one.
