I just got an N90s from a seller on the forum, and it would be nice to have an AF zoom lens.

Any Nikon AF or AF-D zoom in the 28-85 range would work, even the ones that are rated average in that bunch, as my work is not that demanding anyway:laugh:

Note: I do not know, or have read much about AF primes, so I am not sure if I should explore that instead?

The Nikon 28-70 3.5/4.5 D is actually very good and I use it as a compact zoom with my F4 or F6 if I don't want to carry around the 24-120 VR-G f4.
Any of the 50 1.8D primes are super.

Anyway, $55 shipped/pp for the 28-70. Don't like it send it back etc
