Does anyone have a Mamiya XTL slr camera (made from 1971-75) in good-working condition that you would like to sell?
I have a Mamiya ES lens that I've been curious to try out with an XTL.

I do not have one nor have I ever seen one in over 40 years, but I've lusted for them ever since I saw the first advertisement for them in Popular Photography.

Weren't they made for about 4-5 years?

Just like all other mass-produced SLRs, I figured they'd be reasonably available even nowadays. However, it appears I'm mistaken.

So, I guess the quest continues...

They didn't sell very well, partly due to price, a somewhat dim finder (the meter at the film plane required a semi-silvered mirror), and the fact that Mamiya was transitioning between lens mounts.

Considering all the camera shows/swap meets I've gone to for decades, that I've never even seen one attests to their rarity.
