still looking for one....

I own one and sincerely it is not a big improvement over the regular waist level finder. The magnification factor is similar (to my eyes). And the WLF is collapsable while the chimney finder is a huge rigid thing.

As for the meter, i use a handheld meter whenever i need it... Incident metering is always much better than reflected metering.

The PD Magnifying hood is definitely worth having if you use the camera for close-up work.

The TTL spot metering is great - no bellows extension calculations/adjustments! The battery is the common PX28 and the meter cell is modern silicon, not CDS. The meter is slightly slow to use, in that it isn't coupled, but you will be used to that if you have been using a waist level finder.

The magnification is handy. I find that it is a bit better as well at blocking extraneous light. The adjustable diopter is a lot more convenient than having to buy separate diopter lenses.

It is light, but it is really bulky.

I have a specific use case in mind. Anyone have one for sale?
