Want to Buy WTB: Mamiya 6 or Plaubel Makina 67

What have you got and what do you think?

I would opinions on both, if you have first hand experience.

I use the Mamiya 6 MF. I love it. Only 3 lenses which are excellent. I have the panoramic adapter, allows use of 35mm 24x54mm. Easier to carry than most. Lens collapses into the body.

I use the Plaubel Makina 67. A rugged camera with a top notch Nikon lens. Bright viewfinder. The mass of the camera allows for steady hand held shots. In that regard, easier to control than my Fuji GF 670. My other folder is a Super Ikonta B. I like the 67 format. With Makina and Fuji I shoot slides. I would say that all depends upon your preference: 66 or 67. If you already have a 66 camera, why not try 67?
Of course, the SI B will outlive me.Have owned it for 50 yrs. Bought used at Olden. Anybody remember Olden Camera in NYC?

My own experience has been very good. Generally, Japanese treat their equipment with respect. I did have to return a Canon lens because of haze, but haze is common for certain vintage Canon lenses. Overall, always good experience.
My own Makina 67 must have undergone a thorough CLA because a screw holding casing came loose. Got a replacement from Fastenal. Download manual and follow instructions for opening camera and film advancement to the letter.
