Well, as luck would have it a very clean LPL 4500 just fell into my lap, and I am in need of some of the following items:

lens board
4-Blade Negative Masking Attachment
6x6 negative carrier
wall mount (still debating on doing the wall mount vs. the spiffy baseboard, but if the price is right I'll probably make the jump.

Please let me know if you have any of these things. PM is probably best.

Hope this doesn't mean you're getting rid of the Rembrandt! Have an extra 6x7 if you're interested. L

Parker, in case you can't find the masking attachment, I would suggest you make masks out of thin roof flashing and use that with your glass carrier. I did that when I saw the cost of the masking attachment. If you don't have a glass carrier, then that should be the first thing on your list. The lens boards are usually cheap. They are the same for all Saunders enlargers.

That a great idea. I did get a glass carrier with the deal.

This is actually my second go around with the LPL. I had one for two years and then sold it when I thought I would just do digital prints. After a few months I realized what a bad idea that was, so I started to miss the LPL like an old girlfriend.

In the meantime bought a Beseler 45VXL, which I like okay, but nothing compares to the LPL. Working with something else is like trying to go back to an AMC Gremlin after driving a BMW.

Now, what to do with a 45VXL....?

They'll take my cheesy Rembrandt reproduction when they pry it from my cold, dead fingers. Same goes for my f-stop timer.
