Want to Buy WTB: Leitz Focomat V35 Part... hard to find part for "bulb carriage"

Hey everyone,

I bought a V35 for a great price and now I know why. It had no bulb at the time, and now that I've gotten the bulb I find that some part is missing that secures the bulb into the unit. It throws light out the back and is all loosey-goosey (as my dad would say).

It's the later model that uses the Philips 13139 and I'm guessing it is some kind of retaining *thing* that fits with the existing piece that I have. The piece that I have is the one with threading and the 2 "nipples", FLOABW.

If you don't know what I"m talking about, give up right now and step away from this post!... But if you do, please let me know.

Any help would be appreciated as well, like where I might find replacement parts.

Have you tried contacting Leica in New Jersey? They used to have parts for the V35, I don't know if they still do.

Yes, I was planning to do so. I'll see what they say, though I have a feeling it'll be expensive. Thanks though

Although I have a few leads, here is a parts list for the V35.

I need parts 1, 2 and 6. If you have part 4, that means you have the older style and won't have parts 5 or 6. However, you still would have parts 1 and 2.
