I'm looking for the steel reels that Hewes made for Jobo for their 1500 series of tanks. They are steel reels just like the normal Hewes type but the center is sized large enough so that they go onto the plastic center core.
Thank you. I thought that these were discontinued.I ordered mine at RK Photographic and after ordering I got a call asking which core (Patterson or Jobo) I preferred. Have a look and maybe it is of use: http://www.thedarkroom.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=hewes
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. One other thing to remember these reels are heavy and if you are using a processor it will put extra strain on the motor.
I had another unexpected problem because of the combined reel and chemistry weight. I had a 2500-Series Tank with 3 120 Hewes reels loaded onto the Jobo ATL 1500; after the developer (E-6) the tank lid partially came off during the lift operation. One other thing to remember these reels are heavy and if you are using a processor it will put extra strain on the motor.
They don't ship to the USI ordered mine at RK Photographic and after ordering I got a call asking which core (Patterson or Jobo) I preferred. Have a look and maybe it is of use: http://www.thedarkroom.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=hewes
