Hello:

I looking for a Hasselblad Supreme Wide Angle Camera in very good to mint condition. To be clear, the camera I'm looking for is the Supreme Wide Angle, not the Super Wide. This camera was made in 1954 and 1955.

If you have one of these cameras for sale, please PM me the details, photos, and price.

Regards;

Jeff D Welker

There's one on eBay: 221728664740

Thanks for the heads-up Richard. I found that one myself earlier today. It appears to have a little more wear/tear than I was interested in, but its a 1955 body and that has some karma for me - we're both the same vintage. Interestingly, my wife has family in that neck of the woods and we're trying to arrange a personal inspection. Until then, the hunt continues :smile:

Good luck. :smile:

I'm tempted by one of these or the Superwide but already have the wonderful 40mm f4 Zeiss Distagon CF T* FLE lens I use on my 500CM which has been a terrific performer for me. From what I read the 40 Distagon to the classic 38 Biogon have their differences and advantages but for now cannot justify the additional expense....well, I can, but my argument would not likely fly with my wife!

There are advantages and disadvantages to both, but owning more than one of them does not make sense on many levels.
