Anyone out there with some old, expired, or new graded fiber based paper, either 8X10 or 11X14 that you want to let go of. I keep going back to graded paper for prints and have to admit that I really love the stuff. Last print session I dug out some old G4 Emax that I had stashed away, and the results were outstanding. It wasn't even refrigerated and it printed beautifully with great Dmax and brilliant highlights. When my stash of Adox VC FB gets exhausted I'm only going to buy graded paper when I restock. There isn't a lot out there to chose from so I'll take anything I can get. I use a D5 Omega enlarger with a single coil cold light head.

That Emaks paper was really nice. Good luck finding some.

You could investigate Slavich, which is still being sold in the US by a private importer (forget their name now, but they deal mostly in holography, if I remember correctly). Much colder tone than Emaks.

Ilford Galerie is an outstanding product with neutral tone.

Foma has some options too with graded Fomabrom paper. I have not tried it.

I really wish Kentmere Bromide was still available...

While I have a healthy stash of old graded paper, it's all age fogged and I am using it for lith printing. The Agfa paper I had that was still good I sold to John Sexton, I believe Record Rapid Grade 4 in 20x24.

Thanks, Thomas,
I found the Slavich paper at B&H, so will order a bunch this week. Wish I had stocked up more Emax a few years ago. Got my hands on some Agfa VC FB in 11X14 from Bill Moretz at Pro Camera in Charllottesville VA recently. Even out of date, it still prints great. Guess I was lucky. I do have a bit of Fomabron and will be printing with it next. Thanks again.
