Hi,

Looking for one of these on the cheap (1K) for my repro setup within container. All other studio stands are far too large, please let me know what you have (and please don't link to buy new).

Bests,
C

Bumping after just a few hours for a rather rare item, more so as you likely want it to source local (Australia)...

If you want a Foba then you want a Foba  I bought a Bogen Salon (not super Salon), using it with my Sinar P. It's not a Foba but it does hold the camera securely. I wish it had a crank for the lateral arm but at this price I can live with it.

Moreso its the only model in that kind of form-factor - the Studio Titan is probably next closest and all the smaller models from other manufacturers are probably too small to support my setup.

I'm not selling my stand because A: they're a pain in the ass to find at a reasonable price, B: I found mine at an extremely reasonable price, and C: I'm in the US, you're in Australia - the shipping costs would be beyond prohibitive. But I've got an INKA, which is a 7' out of the box, but the cross- arm can be angled up or down so you can get an extra foot, foot and a half height, or get the head down to ground level if you really need to. Look around for one there if you want an alternative to a Foba. I've used my INKA with my 14x17 in the studio before, to give you an idea of the capacity.

I have found plenty for next to nothing or free but they are too large. Also found an odd half-height INKA that wasn't counterbalanced however the footprint and span was a bit big over a metre.

Plaubel Peco Profia Eye Candy by Nokton48, on Flickr

I have this Plaubel Peco Profia that I bought 20 years ago for $100. Would you believe Midwest Photo had six of them at the time?

I would think you need to find one that you can drive to. Shipping something like this is not doable usually. This fit in my minivan when taken apart.

My INKA. Not half-height, and is properly counterbalanced. I don't think I have any shots of it with the arm in the angled position.

Yes it is exactly like that just without the top half. There is an additional extrusion over the center column which can extend the height w/o counterbalance of course.

I still think it is a bit too big for my space aside from height.
